Are your classes endorsed by the federal government?

While we are not a government agency, we are SAM-registered and have been trusted for decades to provide accurate, compliant, and unbiased training to federal employees.

Class Content & Structure
What topics are covered in your classes?

We cover the Federal Employees Retirement System (FERS), Federal Employees’ Group Life Insurance (FEGLI), Social Security, Medicare, Thrift Savings Plan (TSP), Long Term Care Insurance, Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), Property & Casualty Insurance, and Estate Planning.

Will there be any sales or product pitches during the class?

NO, FedTraining classes are strictly educational. We do not sell financial products or services during our sessions. Our only goal is to provide federal employees with clear, accurate information so they can make confident decisions about their benefits.

How long are the classes?

We offer 2-day virtual and 2-day in-person classes. Virtual classes are 6 hours per day, with no formal lunch break. In-person classes are 7.5 hours each day, with an hour lunch. Each program has time built in for Q&A.

Do you provide materials I can take home?

Yes, all in-person attendees receive printed and/or digital reference materials that summarize key benefits information. All virtual attendees receive digital reference materials.
