Our Story
Founded in 1980, FEDTraining (a subsidiary of Personal Benefit Services of Colorado, Inc.) was the creation of economics professor Gary Melling. While working with several federal employees and retirees, Gary realized government did a poor job of educating its own employees about their complex retirement benefits. There was a dire need of clear and unbiased advice. FedTraining was created to fill that vacuum.
For over 40 years, we have been committed to this one, simple mission: to empower federal employees through education. We are not financial advisors selling products in a seminar; we are educators who are dedicated to giving you the knowledge you need to make confident decisions about your future.
